About

Bitget is a centralized cryptocurrency exchange that's built its name around copy trading. It's the platform most traders point to first when they talk about mirroring another trader's positions automatically.
Alongside copy trading, Bitget runs spot, margin, and perpetual futures markets, plus a non-custodial Web3 wallet (Bitget Wallet, formerly BitKeep) for users who want to hold their own keys.
Bitget is registered in Seychelles. It holds Virtual Asset Service Provider registrations in Poland, Lithuania, and Bulgaria, and is registered as a Bitcoin Service Provider in El Salvador.
It does not currently serve users in the United States, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, and a number of other restricted jurisdictions — check the Security & Regulation section below before signing up.

Company Background

Bitget.com was founded in 2018 by a team with a traditional finance background. They'd first come across blockchain back in 2015 but treated it as a curiosity until the Bitcoin whitepaper and Ethereum ecosystem pulled them in properly.
The exchange launched into a bear market, which the team openly credits for shaping its focus — most speculators left, and the ones who stayed rebuilt around product and long-term users rather than hype.
Gracy Chen serves as CEO. Bitget has also built out sports partnerships over the years — Juventus FC, Galatasaray SK, LALIGA, and MotoGP among them — as part of its brand push into mainstream markets.
The platform has grown to serve more than 100 million users across 150+ countries and regions, and is generally counted among the largest exchanges in the world by copy trading volume.
