Crypto Dude started from a frustration that anyone who has spent real time in this industry has felt at least once. You want straightforward information about a platform — fees, what it actually does, whether it is worth your time — and you end up digging through five different websites that either contradict each other or were clearly written two years ago and never touched since.
We got tired of that. So we built this instead.
We launched in May 2026 as an independent crypto directory and research platform. Behind this website is a team of 10 to 15 researchers, analysts, and writers who have spent years working inside this industry. That experience shapes every listing we publish and every decision we make about what belongs here.
Crypto Dude is a personal startup project. There is no exchange backing us, no blockchain project with a stake in our coverage, and no institutional money with strings attached. That independence is not a side note — it is the entire reason this website exists the way it does.

Our directory spans every major sector of the crypto industry. The goal from day one was to cover the full picture — from the exchanges people trade on to the infrastructure developers build with.
Every listing goes through a verification process before it appears here. We reach out to platforms directly, check their official documentation, and run them through third-party tools including Scamadviser, Trustpilot, and Google before anything gets published.
02 How We Select and Verify Platforms
There are thousands of crypto platforms out there and a fair number of them are not worth your attention. Our selection process filters for platforms that are active, verifiable, and relevant to real users.
- We contact the platform directly and allow up to one week for a response
- If no response, we verify through their official website and published documentation
- We cross-check using Scamadviser, Trustpilot, Google, and social media
- We review community feedback and look for patterns of user complaints
- We update listings when significant changes are reported or discovered
That said — crypto moves fast. Fees change, features disappear, platforms pivot without notice. We work to keep things current but always recommend verifying directly with a platform before you use it.
03 Our Team
The team is 10 to 15 people working across research, writing, and platform verification. Everyone here works on an invite-only basis. If someone is publishing on Crypto Dude, they went through an internal review process first.
None of our team members are licensed financial advisors. We are researchers and writers who care about accurate information, not people qualified to tell you where to put your money.
04 How We Make Money
We are upfront about this because you deserve to know. Crypto Dude earns revenue through:
