FTC Disclosure Policy
The United States Federal Trade Commission requires websites that have material connections to products or services they write about to disclose those connections clearly. We have those connections. This page explains exactly what they are.
Even though Crypto Dude operates primarily under UAE law, a significant part of our audience is based in the United States. We follow FTC guidelines regardless — not just because it is expected, but because it is the right thing to do.
01 Our Material Connections
02 How We Disclose on Individual Pages
- Pages with affiliate links include a disclosure notice near the top or before the relevant section
- Sponsored listings are marked with a "Sponsored" label in the directory
- Sponsored articles are labeled "Sponsored Content" in the page header before any content begins
- This FTC Disclosure Policy page is linked from our footer and key content pages
03 What These Connections Do Not Affect
- Affiliate commissions do not determine which platforms get listed or how they are described
- Sponsored listing fees do not influence editorial reviews of those platforms
- We write honest, research-based content about platforms regardless of commercial relationships
- We have published negative content about platforms that pay us affiliate commissions
- Platforms without affiliate arrangements are reviewed with the same standards as those that have them
Our editorial team and commercial team operate independently. Advertisers and affiliate partners cannot request changes to, or approval of, editorial content before or after publication.
04 Testimonials and Reviews
All reviews and opinions on Crypto Dude reflect our genuine research and assessment at the time of writing. We do not publish fabricated reviews. We do not guarantee that results described in any platform's marketing materials reflect typical user experience. Individual results vary and past performance does not predict future outcomes — especially in crypto.
05 Native Advertising
When any content on this website is paid for by an advertiser and is designed to appear similar to editorial content, it will be clearly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Paid Content" in a way that is immediately visible before you start reading. We do not blur the line between editorial content and advertising.
06 FTC Guideline Reference
This policy is maintained in compliance with the FTC's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255) and FTC guidance on native advertising and affiliate marketing disclosures. We review and update our disclosure practices when FTC guidelines change.
07 Questions
